money secrets of the amish

I read a really interesting book last week: Money secrets of the Amish: Finding true abundance in simplicity, sharing, and saving.  I really enjoyed it and there are nice tips and tricks in there like bartering with your neighbors, when you should buy in bulk, how to cut down on spending, get out of debt, and use tin foil as dryer sheets (not kidding...haven't tried this yet but can't wait!).

I told a few people about it, but I know I forgot a few that read this blog.  It's an easy read and really easy to pick up and read a few pages when you get a chance, then set it down for a couple days again.  In the interest of saving money (and with me being a librarian), please get it from your library!  I linked to the Amazon page so you can see information about it, but libraries are the FREE source!  :)

Tin foil as dryer sheets is a tip from the Amish? They dry their clothes on a line in the front yard.

Okay good point, that came from the book not the Amish specifically!
