our wedding program

I was going through older computer files and cleaning things out, and I came across our wedding program.  I started reading it and it was cracking me up!!

Having been in seven weddings before I got married, not to mention attending dozens more, I was very experienced in reading wedding programs.  One of my favorites was my high school friend, Jill, who had gotten married.  They had multiple pages, and the wedding party members each got a page with a photo and a description of their relationship to the bride and groom.  I kept that memory for about 10 years in my head (which is amazing because considering all the stupid commercial jingles I remember, I don't know how there was room!) and used a similar principle for my wedding.

I wanted to include information about who the bridal party was and I also wanted to include some fun facts about Andy and I because there were people at the wedding who knew one of us and not the other.  Or there are things you always wonder about the couple if you aren't super close like how did they meet, where are they going on their honeymoon, etc.

Anyway, I had such a good time reading it, I wanted to post it here for people to be entertained. So enjoy!  (And you might need to zoom in to read it, so use the little magnifying glass in the toolbar at the top.)

A couple FYIs...the photo on the front is actually us.  We took it with a camera timer and a tripod (and lots of running from me) on a stranger's property.  Don't worry, I asked permission first!  It was also the photo on our wedding invitations.
