my new donuts

I have been coveting a donut pan for baked donuts for awhile. Santa Jeph bought me one and it's so exciting!  I made donuts the day after I got the pan, and they were very tasty.  However, I am still on the hunt for the perfect recipe.  The texture was a little odd and I think it's because the batter was SO thick.  The bottoms looked way prettier than the tops:

So I flipped them over to serve:

The one on the right has glaze on it.  I used the recipe that came with the pan, but I will be branching out to try other recipes.  My dear sweet husband is so agreeable that he's going to "let" me bake donuts every weekend until we find a killer recipe.  Oh how he sacrifices!
